The 2007 edition of the Guiness Book of World Records names Janet the new "most searched for person on the internet" and "most searched for news item on the internet," CBC News reports.
This is the first time professionally filmed footage of Janet's performances at this concert has been released to the public. The concert had aired on French television a few days after it took place, but unfortunately the broadcast did not include Janet's performances.
The article also confirms that the previously announced dance track titled "Clap Your Hands" will be released along with additional songs on a future re-release of "20 Y.O."
She performed "Nasty," "So Excited," and "Call On Me" with a special guest appearance by Nelly.
It should be noted that Janet and Nelly actually recorded "Call On Me" during one of the show's commercial breaks. Unfortunately, NBC came back on air while they were still performing the very last few seconds of that song, making many viewers think that they missed out on the song altogether. These last few seconds of "Call On Me" were not intended to air live on television when it did. NBC's original plan was to record the performance during a commercial break and then air that song in full later on during the next hour of the show, which they did.
High quality photos of Janet and a portion of her interview from the November 2006 issue of King Magazine that she also appears on the cover of can now be seen on the King Magazine website.
A video of Janet walking the red carpet and hanging out inside of the VIP room at the official release party for "20 Y.O." at New York City's Room Service on Tuesday night can be streamed on TMZ.com.
The following list represents the Billboard positions for "So Excited" and "Call On Me" on each of the singles charts for the week ending October 7, 2006.
"So Excited": Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks: 75 to 55* Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay: 74 to 54*

Customers who purchase a copy of "20 Y.O." at Target retail stores will receive inside of the CD case a cardboard insert that contains a unique code that will allow them to purchase up to four concert tickets for Janet's upcoming tour before tickets go on sale to the general public.
Versions of the CD with this unique code are in limited quantity and are clearly indicated on the outside of the packaging with a red sticker notifying customers of the code that comes inside of the package. There is also an additional sticker on the outside of the package warning customers that if the packaging of the CD is opened, the product cannot be returned. This is presumably being used to prevent people from buying a copy of the CD, removing the concert tickets code, and then returning the CD.
No tour dates or venues are known at this time.
Update: Additional information about the pre-sale can be found on www.tickettomusic.com.

The album comes in regular and deluxe editions, and also comes in four limited edition versions that each features one of the four cover contest winners.
Janet filmed an episode of BET's 106 & Park today, and it will air tomorrow afternoon.
The episode was a retrospective of Janet's past 20 years in the music industry and had her answering questions about various topics such as past song lyrics, and she even at one point tried doing double dutch.
According to a post made by Jermaine Dupri on Janet's official website, Janet will be interviewed this evening at 6PM ET on Angie Martinez's Hot 97 radio show.

In the episode, Janet flies on a jet from Atlanta to New York with her crew, discusses her habit of eating seeds from various fruits and vegetables, goes to dinner at a Mexican restaurant, and then attends the House of Latex Ball to watch Danielle Polanco, one of her dancers, perform.
Titled the Hood Remix, it features lots of additional vocals from Khia that were cut from the final version of the song and does not include any vocals from Janet.
It is unknown right now if this remix was officially commissioned by Virgin Records, or if Khia made this remix independently and on her own.
Janet made an appearance via satellite on French reality show Star Academy on Friday night. She had originally been scheduled to be there in person and perform, however scheduling difficulties prevented this from happening.
In the message, Janet invited one of the show's competitors to fly to the US and attend the launch party for her "20 Y.O." album on Tuesday night.
Several retail outlets in the United States will be giving away various free items with the purchase of the "20 Y.O." album, which hits stores this coming Tuesday. The stores and items are listed below and come with both the regular version and the deluxe version.
