The album is one of more than 20 UMG titles that will receive the special packaging, which is a part of Wal-Mart's "Earth Month" promotion. The CDs come in the new REPAK CD package, an all paperboard option containing renewable recycled board and recyclable paper. The packaging's design features a unique recessed cavity to hold the disc snugly and safely in place, eliminating the need for a plastic hub or tray.
The CDs also contain a special paper insert that when properly planted will bloom into wildflowers.
Jermaine Dupri this morning posted a video of himself and Janet at last night's Kids' Choice Awards on YouTube.
In the video, Janet discusses her recent illness. "I had bronchitis but I was borderline pneumonia," she says in the video. "And I was like that for three weeks."
Janet and actor Josh Peck presented the award for Favorite Movie actress to Jessica Alba at last night's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
The mailing list from Janet's official website sent out an e-mail late last night confirming that Janet will be appearing tonight at the 2008 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
The awards begin at 8 PM ET and will air live.
The e-mail announcement said, "Make sure you watch from the beginning... hint hint."
The following list represents Janet's positions on all of the Billboard charts for the week ending April 5, 2008.
"Can't B Good," the fourth single from Discipline, makes its debut on the Billboard charts this week, landing on the Hot Adult R&B Airplay chart.
Discipline sold 34,000 copies in its fourth week of sales, bringing it's four week total to 310,000 copies sold in the U.S, according to Soundscan.

Island Def Jam this evening released onto the internet what they are calling an official remix of "Feedback" that features Busta Rhymes, Ciara and Fabolous.
Previously, both Ciara and Busta Rhymes released their own unofficial remixes of the song onto the internet. Janet confirmed in an interview with MTV.com last month that Ciara's remix was unofficial and something Ciara did on her own. Busta released his unofficial remix onto the internet shortly thereafter.
This "official" remix, apparently made by Jermaine Dupri, is a mashup of Ciara and Busta's respective remixes with new vocals by Fabolous.
Janet will make a quick visit to Japan in April to promote Discipline, according to an article from Japan Today:
Janet Jackson to make quick visit to Japan Monday 24th March, 04:43 AM JST
American singer Janet Jackson will be in Japan April 9-12 to promote her latest album "Discipline," her agent says. Jackson, 41, last visited Japan in October 2006.
According to her agent, she herself suggested the short visit Japan this time, although she has a busy schedule promoting the new album in the U.S. Her agent quoted her as saying: "I love Japan so much because it never bores me. I want to visit KiddyLand, sushi restaurants and clubs with my friends."
The following announcement concerning a contest for fans to create their own "Feedback" video was posted this morning as a bulletin on Janet's MySpace page:
I want your Feedback! Create a video of you (by yourself, or with friends) performing a dance routine to "Feedback" and post it to my YouTube channel.
This contest is about art, and there are no losers in art, so winners will be chosen at random, but you do need to enter to win.
4 lucky winners will receive an iPod pre-loaded with my new album Discipline and the videos for "Feedback" and "Rock With U".
An article about rapper Fabolous posted this morning on MTV.com states that he has just completed a remix of Janet's "Feedback."
This is the first known mention of Fabolous remixing the song. It is unknown at this moment when or if this remix will be released.
In 2006, Fabolous was featured on a remix of "So Excited." Incidently, that remix, despite being official, was never actually released by the record company and was only traded as an electronic file online among fans.
UPDATE: A new Billboard.com article also states that Fabolous "has recently collaborated with Janet Jackson," although it didn't elaborate.
Janet's interview that aired this week on Orlando radio station XL 106.7's morning show hosted by Johnny & Jayde can now be streamed on their website.
In the interview, Janet again explains that she had planned on filming another movie at the beginning of this year, however those plans were canceled due to the writers' strike.
"Now that the strike is over, I have to figure out the timing of it all because I'm gonna get into tour rehearsals real soon, in a couple of months, and the first show is mid-September," she said in the interview.
She also said that not all of the tour dates have been scheduled yet, including the first show, however she told the station that she will bring the tour to Orlando. In a previous interview with a Connecticut radio station, Janet said that she'd also be bringing her tour to Hartford.
She also mentioned that she will be visiting Asia and Europe very soon to promote Discipline.
The following list represents Janet's positions on all of the Billboard charts for the week ending March 29, 2008.

The full charts will be announced -- as always -- on Thursday morning.
Celebrity gossip website TMZ is reporting that Janet has cancelled her appearance on this Saturday's episode of Saturday Night Live due to her recent illness. She was scheduled to be the musical guest on this weekend's episode.
"Janet did go to the hospital last night due to the fact she's been suffering from this flu that's kicked a lot of people's behinds," publicist Patti Webster told The Associated Press in an e-mail. "She was never admitted and she is fine."
Still, Webster said Jackson - who visited a Los Angeles hospital - was pulling out of the March 15 "SNL" telecast because "she needs some time to get better."
"SNL" spokesman Marc Liepis said he did not know what music act will replace Jackson.
The dance/variety show with a teen twist will feature a mix of today's hottest musical acts, free-style dance competitions and a troupe of young dancers to teach kids the latest moves.
The series will premiere on Saturday, March 29 at 9:30 PM ET and then will move to its regular timeslot, Sundays at 8:30 PM ET. It is unknown at this point exactly when Janet will appear on the show.
UPDATE: Patti Webster, Janet's rep, has informed E! Online that Janet has since been released from the hospital. It is unclear at this point if it was an overnight stay or just a short visit.
In the interview, Janet acknowledged that she will be producing a television series, although details about the series were not revealed. "I don't want to talk too much about it, but it's something for the younger generation," she said about the series.
She also confirmed that she will bring her upcoming tour to Hartford, however she declined to say if any musical acts would be joining her on the tour.
Janet is one of several celebrities who have filmed a new public service announcement decrying violence against gays in response to the brutal murders of 15-year-old Lawrence King last month and 17-year-old Simmie Williams just days later, 365gay.com is reporting.
The public service announcement began airing on Logo today and can also be streamed online by going to the splash page of LogoOnline.com.
"None of us are safe until all of us are safe," Janet says in the spot.
Aside from Janet, the public service announcement also features community activist, writer and actress Calpernia Addams (Transamerican Love Story), Andre 3000 (of OutKast), R&B artist Ashanti, singer/songwriter Sarah Bareilles, actress Portia de Rossi (Arrested Development, Nip/Tuck), international performer Estelle, actor T.R. Knight (Grey's Anatomy), R&B artist Little Sister, actor Darryl Stephens (Noah's Arc) and singer/songwriter Taylor Swift.
"One more murder, one more life lost, one more attempt to provoke fear and one more reason hate crimes must end. We hope this PSA will help inspire more people to join the fight against hate crimes," said Brian Graden, President of MTV Networks Music Group Entertainment and President of Logo.
Graden said that the 60 second PSA will be made available to Logo's sister brands across MTV Networks as well as other networks that wish to air it.
At Downelink.com, Logo's social network for multi-cultural young adults, viewers are invited to comment and provide video responses on a special tribute page.
A new promotional video declaring that Discipline is the No. 1 album in the country has been posted on Janet's MySpace page.
In addition, she has posted a bulletin to her friends on MySpace announcing that she will be holding a "giveaway" soon to celebrate the album's chart debut.
"Feedback" will rise one position and hit the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart for the week ending March 22, 2008 when the charts get officially announced next week.
Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart -- unlike the other charts -- gets compiled a week in advance and therefore its positions are often known a few days before it is officially released by Billboard.
"Feedback" becomes the 18th No. 1 song of Janet's career on the dance chart. The 1987 track "Diamonds," which features Janet on lead vocals, did reach No. 1 on that same chart, however Billboard does not consider it to be one of Janet's songs since only Herb Alpert was given credit for that song on the dance chart. (Billboard did, however, curiously credit Janet for that same song on the R&B chart.)
The remaining charts will be released on Thursday morning.
The full list of Janet's peaks on the Billboard charts can be found in the Knowledge section of the Janet|Xone website. The statistics for "Feedback" will be added to that page after it has peaked on all of the charts.
Janet's interview yesterday morning on Raleigh, North Carolina radio station G105 FM's morning show hosted by Bob & the Showgram can now be downloaded on their website.
In the interview, she discusses the differences between her old music and her new music, 2Pac, her upcoming book, and plays a game of "Name That Jackson."
During an interview yesterday evening with Washington D.C. radio station WPGC 95.5, Missy Elliot said that she may go on tour with Janet.
"We're trying to make that happen right now," Missy said after being asked about a possible tour with Janet. "So hopefully this Janet thing, the Missy Elliot and Janet Jackson tour will be happening and I think that'll be great. I think that together, collectively it'll be hot, I know that."
With her sixth No. 1 album in the bag, Janet Jackson next has a tour and a book ready to roll this year. The singer, whose "Discipline" debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 181,000, anticipates a mid-September launch for a trip that will take her around the world.
"We're talking about America first," Jackson tells Billboard.com, "but I think we're going all over. I think I'm going to go back to Australia, back to Africa, obviously go to Asia, go to Europe for sure."
Jackson says fans can expect something "big -- it's always been big" and that some ideas may come from a tour she was planning to support 2006's "20 Y.O." before her new label, Island, suggested she instead return to the studio to make another album. "I'll probably tweak things from the last stage and stuff I had prepared for everyone," Jackson says. "It'll be an uptempo, upbeat show. I would love to perform every single I've had, but that's a pretty long show. I don't want people to be bored to tears."
Jackson adds that seven years after her last tour, she's anxious to get back on the boards. "I have missed it, and it means a great deal to me," she says. "When I'm creating music or singing the music (in the studio), I think about the stage performance. I think about the tour. The idea starts that early on for me. And I love being able to see the sea of faces, to have that connection, to feel that love. That's exciting for me."
Some time during the tour Jackson also hopes to roll out a book about her weight issues that she's co-writing with her nutritionist, David Allen. A title and publication details are expected to be announced soon, but Jackson says the idea for the book was inspired by her fans.
"Everybody asks me -- men, women -- how did I do it?" she says. "Even young people will come up to me and they have an issue with their weight and they're very concerned. So it's basically my journey; it's not just this sterile, weight loss and how to do it book, but my journey even from when I was a kid ... being an emotional eater. It takes you through those moments in my life up 'til now and what worked for me. And hopefully within that, if it doesn't work for them, maybe they'll find something that does work for them and a nice place for them to be content with who they are."
Jackson says she hopes to have the book out by "the latter part of this year. That's what we're pushing for."
Janet's live interview from this morning on Washington D.C. radio station Hot 99.5's morning show hosted by Kane can now be downloaded on their website in two separate parts.
In the interview, Janet admits that she's only listened to Discipline "a couple of times," says again that she would like to be the opening act for a Jackson 5 reunion tour, and talks about her upcoming weight loss book, and admits that she did not buy the new 25th anniversary edition of the Thriller album but rather was given a copy for free by a journalist after she did a recent interview.
In the interview, Janet discusses the reaction of the US press to the sexual nature of her albums and also discusses how each of her albums are personal.
Janet's live interview from this morning on Washington D.C. radio station WPGC 95.5's morning show hosted by Donnie Simpson can now be downloaded on their website.
In the interview, Janet talks about her upcoming tour and clarifies rumors about Jermaine Dupri having problems with his recent eye surgery.
In the interview, Janet says that she will be going to Europe and Asia soon to promote the album. Rehearsals for her upcoming tour will begin in June, and the tour itself will start in mid-September. She also revealed that Blanche is her favorite "Golden Girl".
In the interview, Janet put to rest rumors that she once had a child. She also revealed for the first time that she was planning on filming another movie after she finished recording Discipline, however those plans were cancelled because of the recent writers' strike.
"SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE" FINISHES ITS UNPRECEDENTED FOUR-WEEK RUN WITH NEW SHOWS MARCH 8 AND MARCH 15
Oscar nominee Amy Adams hosts March 8 with Indie Buzz Band Vampire Weekend;
"Superbad" star Jonah Hill hosts March 15 with Musical Superstar Janet Jackson
NEW YORK - March 6, 2008 - With "Saturday Night Live" making headlines for its political satire and resurgent ratings, the show roars through March with the back half of its unprecedented four-show-in-a row run.
...
On March 15, rising comedy star Jonah Hill hosts the show. Hill made a splash last summer in the outrageous and critically acclaimed comedy blockbuster "Superbad" opposite Michael Cera, Seth Rogen and SNL's Bill Hader. Hill made his debut in "I Heart Huckabees" and secured a role in the hit comedy "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" and went on to a memorable role in the teen comedy "Accepted." Hill began his hit-filled summer of 2007 playing opposite Seth Rogen in the comedy smash "Knocked Up." Up next for Hill, the romantic comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" with Kristen Bell and Jason Segel and lending his voice to the animated Dr. Suess feature "Horton Hears A Who!"
Megastar Janet Jackson joins Hill for her third appearance on "Saturday Night Live" (after hosting in 2004). Jackson will perform from her just-released No. 1-debuting album "Discipline" - which topped the Billboard 200 as well as the R&B charts upon its release. Her tenth studio album and first No. 1 debut since 2001, "Discipline" is scoring accolades as well as sales; earning three stars from USA Today. Jackson has sold 100 million records worldwide, won five Grammy Awards, an Oscar nomination and most recently an NAACP Image Award for Best Supporting Actress in the No. 1-debuting Tyler Perry film "Why Did I Get Married?"
In the interview, Janet says that while recording "Rock With U" it didn't even cross her mind that her brother Michael had a popular song of the same name. She also talks about the sexual nature of the song "Discipline," the last time she saw Paula Abdul, and describes her favorite kind of smoothie.
The dates for Janet's upcoming promotional television appearances in Germany have changed, according to the listing on Janet's official German website.
Her previously reported appearances on Punkt, Taff and heute have all been moved to March 21. Arte Tracks is still scheduled for April 11.
As always, Janet's schedule of television appearances and releases is constantly updated on the Janet|Xone calendar, located on the right side of the news page.
The following list represents Janet's positions on all of the Billboard charts for the week ending March 15, 2008.
As was previously reported, Discipline makes its debut at the top of the album charts, selling 181,075 copies in its first week of sales in the U.S., according to Soundscan.
Also interesting to note is that "Feedback" makes a significant jump on the Hot 100 this week, leaping from 53 to 19 as the result of a large increase in digital sales of the song. This is a new peak for the track on that chart and becomes Janet's highest charting single on the Hot 100 since 2001's "Someone To Call My Lover," which peaked at No. 3. Janet now has a total of 33 top 40 hits throughout her career.
"Feedback" also debuts on the various sales charts this week due to the February 26 release of the track's vinyl single.
Surprisingly, 2004's "All Nite (Don't Stop)" also re-enters one of the singles sales charts this week, four years after its release.
UPDATE: Billboard.com is now reporting that "Feedback" sold 81,000 digital downloads this week.

Hits Daily Double is only an estimate of album sales and not the actual number.
The host of the show that evening will be Superbad star Jonah Hill.

Janet will appear on an upcoming episode of ABC's late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The website that gives away tickets for the talk show is currently listing an episode featuring Janet as a guest that will film next Tuesday, March 4 at 5:30 PM at Jimmy Kimmel's studio in Los Angeles. Tickets for the taping are sold out.
It is unknown at this point exactly when the episode will air. Currently, neither Jimmy Kimmel's official website nor any television schedules are listing an episode with Janet on their upcoming schedule. It is possible that the episode may air later that night, however that has not been confirmed yet. The show airs weeknights on ABC at 12:05 AM EST.
UPDATE: The listings at TVGuide.com state that one of the guests on the episode that will air on Tuesday night will be Jackie Mason.
